JTA
Roles and Responsibilities
JTA Staff will help Alliance Partners to:
- Work collaboratively with partner organizations to discover their
mission, activities, priorities, decision-making process and then,
together, identify ways or opportunities in which the organization
might participate.
- Develop funding and capacity building opportunities that fit the
profile of your organization will be provided to enhance the organization’s
participation.
- Aggressively outreach to broaden the range of interests, issues,
organizations, and constituencies represented in the Alliance.
- Facilitate participation in Statewide Alliance Meetings by developing
appropriate materials and information prior to meetings, developing
consensually a clearly-defined, concise agenda, and providing, as
possible, approximately four weeks notice. (The frequency of meetings
is expected to be approximately one a calendar quarter.)
- Provide on-going issue trainings, skills enhancement, technical
resources, and media support, as appropriate, for all Alliance activities
- Update partners monthly on activities with ongoing networking made
possible through subscription list-servs, phone calls, visits, and
other means.
